Our community is bound by two overarching goals: to support the growth and success of a diverse professoriate and advance equity and inclusive excellence on our campuses.
Our campuses strive to be dynamically inclusive communities and enhance institutional climates to best embrace diversity. We work to promote these goals specifically among the ranks of faculty and through meaningful faculty-to-faculty interactions that include our executive leaders. Our activities to date also include participation in the Institute on Diversity, Civility, and the Liberal Arts and a 2019 AAC&U panel presentation, “Institutional relationships with oppression: Southern colleges collaborate to confront the past and construct a more equitable future.”
Current members in this community include representatives from four ACS campuses whose projects span the 2018-2020 grant periods. Project titles, leadership, and participating campuses are below.
