Description: This workshop sought to help other ACS institutions:
- Identify specific use cases for ethical, effective, and inclusive generative AI tools that support both faculty and students (ex. Building custom GPTs for transparent assignment description generation, prompt engineering for building Data Visualization coding tutors, etc.)
- Explore the various models for offering generative AI tools for faculty and student access (open-source tool will be available)
- Build best practices for approaching the challenging discussions around generative AI like academic integrity and data privacy
- To create an environment where every participant felt seen, heard, and supported.
